Woman killed in Indianapolis auto accident

WTHR reports that a woman was killed in an Indianapolis car accident when she was hit by another vehicle.

The 34-year-old woman was crossing the southbound lane of US 31 north of Smith Valley Road when she was hit by a pick-up truck.

The victim was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the truck was arrested for driving while suspended, which is a Class A misdemeanor. The Indianapolis auto accident remains under investigation.
